ADA, MN (June 26)- Michael Truscott of Chippewa Falls, WI claimed the 25 lap, 25 car WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature Wednesday night at Norman County Raceway. He took over the top spot while battling with Cory Crapser and Tyler Peterson on lap eight. Truscott dove to the low side of Crapser in turns three and four and the two drivers dragged raced down the front straightaway. Truscott led the lap by a mere .004 seconds. As they continued to battle on lap nine, the caution flag flew and resulted in Truscott being scored ahead of Crapser for the restart. Truscott took off when the green flag flew and put his #22 B-Mod on cruise control as he went on to take the $675 win.

Jeff Wildung of Nassau, MN took the lead away from Ricky Weiss of Headingly, MB on lap seven of the NLRA Late Model A-main. Weiss battled back, however, but was never able wrestle the point away from the veteran driver of the Lucas Oil #50. Wildung led from laps 7-30 en route to his first career Norman County Raceway victory in his debut at the track.

Jeremy Keller dominated the first-ever IMCA Modified feature at NCR. The Mandan, ND driver led all 20 circuits and parked his #11k in KRJB/KRJM Victory Lane.

Jim Erdmann led the field of WISSOTA Mod Fours to the green flag, but it didn’t stick as the two-time WISSOTA national champion, Rob VanMil, came charging to the front to take the lead on lap two. VanMil made easy work of the pack and led the remaining 14 laps to take home his 26th Mod Four win.
